This relatively unknown Australian band, The Paper Kites, has made itself known in America over the last few years due mainly to their growing popularity in their music. Having garnered local support in Melbourne, Australia, they toured across the world and are now making an impression in America and Europe. With just over ten years of a music career, they have released six studio albums, a single compilation and two extended play albums. Their music has been featured on American TV series "Grey's Anatomy". They have been nominated for the Australian Music Video of the Year and also a nomination for ARIA Awards, for Best Adult Contemporary Album.
